Sandy Creek extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 3-4 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Sackets Harbor Central Patriots. The Comets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Sackets Harbor Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. They have struggled against Sandy Creek recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

For Sackets Harbor Central's part, Christian McKeever was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor L'Huillier, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.
