With a playoff game on the line, Baylor rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-4  victory over the Christian Brothers Purple Wave. That's two games straight that Baylor has won by  exactly two  runs.
 Baylor got a great performance from  Jax Bishop as he  tossed six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Nelson McKnight, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blake Lundy, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Baylor is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record  this season. As for Christian Brothers, their loss dropped their record down to 19-10.
 As of now, neither Baylor nor Christian Brothers have any future games scheduled.
