The St. Thomas Episcopal Saints stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Legacy Prep Christian Academy 91-54 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-29.
Aiden Law was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 16 games he's played. Nathan Law was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory was the fourth in a row for St. Thomas Episcopal, bringing their record for this year to 18-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 90.8 points per game. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Thomas Episcopal will square off against Cypress Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1023rd, while St. Thomas Episcopal is ranked 139th). As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Logos Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
