The team also got some help courtesy of Jaliyah Wright, who had eight points in addition to two steals.
Momence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Armstrong, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-1.
Momence's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Armstrong, they will take on Cissna Park in a tournament on Thursday.
