The Hanahan Hawks entered their tilt with the Battery Creek Dolphins with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hanahan claimed a resounding 60-32 win over the Dolphins at home. Hanahan pushed the score to 44-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dolphins had little chance of recovering from.
Jaylah Hughes continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Lawson, who scored 15 points.
Hanahan pushed their record up to 12-10 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Battery Creek, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, Hanahan and the Dolphins will both be playing the Iron Horses the next time they take the court. Hanahan will host the Iron Horses at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Dolphins will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
