The Heritage Christian School Eagles pushed their score all the way to 56 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against North Kissimmee Christian, falling 86-56. Heritage Christian School has struggled against North Kissimmee Christian recently, as their game on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gavyn Gailfoil, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kedwin Hawkins, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Kissimmee Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Izaiah Noel, who scored 27 points. The contest was Noel's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Anthony Morales was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Heritage Christian School's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for North Kissimmee Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian School has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. North Kissimmee Christian will take on West Melbourne Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
