The MacArthur Generals will take on the Humble Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur will be strutting in after a victory while Humble will be coming in after a loss.
MacArthur is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with an 11-6 win over Sweeny on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.

The team relied heavily on Adrian Mata, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Cepeda, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
MacArthur was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Humble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-2 to New Caney, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Corbin Stowell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. He also scored a run, marking his first of the season.
MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Humble, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
MacArthur's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's contest. The Generals have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Humble, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will MacArthur continue to outrun the ball?
MacArthur might still be hurting after the 9-3 defeat they got from Humble when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
