Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davenport). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-65 win over the St. George's Dragons on Friday. For the Gorillas, this counts as revenge for the 55-41 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

The win made it two in a row for Davenport and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for St. George's, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Davenport won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chewelah at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. George's and Mabton will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
