It was a good run, but the North Forsyth Raiders unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 66-51 fall against Shiloh. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Forsyth in their matchups with the Generals: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading Shiloh to victory were Tylis Jordan and Jullien Cole. Jordan scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Cole dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Shuler, who scored six points along with three steals.
North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Shiloh, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forsyth and the Red Elephants will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Shiloh, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Lanier knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully the Generals likes a good challenge.
