After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stewartville, Pine Island was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the St. Charles Fighting Saints as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Fighting Saints: they've now won five in a row.

Pine Island's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for St. Charles, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Island will host Lake City at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Charles, they will be playing at home against Rushford-Peterson at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
