The Bensalem Fighting Owls had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Bucks West and snuck past 50-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bensalem also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Jaidyn Moffitt, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Bensalem's points. Another player making a difference was Amir Drummond, who scored ten points.
Bensalem pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Central Bucks West, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Bensalem will head out on the road to face off against Central Bucks South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Bucks South will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 412th, while Bensalem is ranked 39th). As for Central Bucks West, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Harry S. Truman at 7:00 p.m.
