Sparta Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Robinson led the charge by scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds. The matchup was Robinson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Colton Phillips was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Crenshaw Christian Academy's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Sparta Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Crenshaw Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sparta Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Southern Academy at 7:00 p.m. Southern Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
