After a string of four wins, Fletcher's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mandarin Mustangs by a score of 6-5. The Senators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Tucker Demsey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Hobie Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Fletcher's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for Mandarin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fletcher will host First Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mandarin, they will square off against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
