The N.C. School for the Deaf Bears will be home for the holidays to greet the Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Nebo Crossing Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on N.C. School for the Deaf, who comes in off a win.
N.C. School for the Deaf scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 62-49 win over Non Varsity Opponent. The victory was just what N.C. School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 84-44 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Nebo Crossing Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to Pinnacle Classical Academy 40-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nebo Crossing Academy has scored all season.
N.C. School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Nebo Crossing Academy, they bumped their record down to 3-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
N.C. School for the Deaf ended up a good deal behind Nebo Crossing Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2018, losing 56-42. Can N.C. School for the Deaf avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
