Bath County proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 34) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the East Carter Raiders 56-54. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

East Carter lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Savannah Adams, who posted 13 points. Jocelyn Rudd was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bath County's win bumped their record up to 10-20. As for East Carter, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

Bath County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Carter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-26 victory against Elliott County on the 24th.
