The Sullivan Golden Arrows scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 81-49 win over Brown County. Winning may never get old, but Sullivan sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Sullivan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Bock out in front who scored 19 points along with two blocks. Bock is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Marcus Roshel, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 3 assists.
Sullivan's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Brown County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Sullivan will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Owen Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Golden Arrows are ranked 91st). As for Brown County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Lighthouse Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
