Lafayette put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 70-50 margin over the Rayne Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Rayne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Lafayette will square off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rayne, they will head out to take on Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves will be up against the Gent's rather soft defense (which has allowed 61 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
