Cindy Avitia snuck past Apostles Lutheran with a 42-37 victory. The win was familiar territory for Cindy Avitia who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Apostles Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Bork, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The game was Bork's third in a row with at least ten points. Chris Kim was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 18 rebounds and 4 steals.
Cindy Avitia now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Apostles Lutheran, they have fallen quite a ways from their 14-7 record last season and are now at 1-2.
