The Trezevant Bears can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They claimed a resounding 59-27 victory over Crosstown on the road. That looming 59-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Trezevant yet this season.
Trezevant's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jerell Miller, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Courtney Chaffin, who scored eight points along with six blocks and five rebounds.
Trezevant's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Crosstown, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lakeland Preparatory the next time they take the court. Trezevant will host the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Explorers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
