The Parkview Christian Patriots won the last time they faced the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats, and things went their way on Saturday too. Parkview Christian managed a 38-34 win over the Wildcats.
Parkview Christian was led to victory by Merryl Paul and Maria Pastrelo. Paul scored 12 points along with five rebounds, while Pastrelo scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Pastrelo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.
Parkview Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Cedar Bluffs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkview Christian is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Lincoln Lutheran is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Cedar Bluffs, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bobcats on Monday. Iowa School for the Deaf is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
