Big Rapids won against Lakeview last Tuesday with 75 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Big Rapids Cardinals put the hurt on the Newaygo Lions with a sharp 75-51 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Big Rapids is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Newaygo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Rapids will head out to challenge Kent City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newaygo, they will venture away from home to take on Central Montcalm at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
