After losing to the Dixon Bulldogs the last time they met, the South Lenoir Blue Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. South Lenoir walked away with a 31-24 win over Dixon on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Lenoir.
Among those leading the charge was Tyazhia Midgett, who scored 14 points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Alexus Haddock, who scored nine points along with four steals.
South Lenoir's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Dixon, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Southwest Onslow the next time they take the court. Dixon will head out to face Southwest Onslow at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while South Lenoir will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
