Basketball Recap: UR Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

UR Academy won against The Fletcher School last Monday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The UR Academy Lions took down the Judah Christian Academy Lions 69-53. The win was nothing new for UR Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading UR Academy to victory were Jordan Miller and Gabriel Thompson. Miller dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 boards, while Thompson went 14 of 22 on his way to 31 points and five assists. Miller has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 17 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brysen Parker, who posted six points and five boards.

UR Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Judah Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

UR Academy will head out to face off against Heritage Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. UR Academy is facing Heritage Christian at the right time seeing as Heritage Christian is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Judah Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
