If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Liberty. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Winters Mill on Friday at 7:00 PM. Liberty are coming into the game hot, having won three in a row.
While not quite a landslide, the contest between Liberty and Williamsport last Friday was still a pretty decisive one as Liberty wrapped it up with a 38-21 win.
Meanwhile, Winters Mill came up short against Poolesville, falling 33-45.
Liberty's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Winters Mill's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Liberty can add another positive mark to their record or if Winters Mill can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Liberty's step.
