The Liberty Redhawks will be playing at home against the Emerson Mavericks at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Liberty is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
 On Saturday, Liberty didn't have quite enough to beat Lebanon Trail and fell  3-2.
 Meanwhile, Emerson can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Saturday. Everything went their way against Independence as Emerson made off with  a  14-5 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Emerson.
  Addison Hudnall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Hudnall was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Emerson let  Madison Mayes and  Alexis Maijala loose on the outfield. Mayes  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances, while  Maijala  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ellie Thurman, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Emerson, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record  this season.
