If The Bonners Ferry Badgers were feeling good off their 45-0 takedown of the Orofino Maniacs last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Bonners Ferry took a serious blow against Timberlake on Friday, falling 66-28. Bonners Ferry was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Timberlake apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Cooper j. Lenz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Timberlake, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 132 receiving yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Caius Tebbe, who rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Bonners Ferry has fallen quite a ways from their 9-1 record last season and are now at 3-6. As for Timberlake, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Bonners Ferry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Timberlake will look to defend their home field on Saturday against American Falls at 2:00 p.m. American Falls is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
