Although La Vernia took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Cisneros and Keegan Hajek.
Floresville has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for La Vernia, their defeat on Friday dropped their record down to 4-2.

However, it's not like La Vernia struggles in that department as they've been even better at 219.5 per game. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
