Roscoe is 0-7 against Albany since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Plowboys are taking a road trip to square off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Roscoe's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over Winters. The Plowboys' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jace Arnwine
| 10/24/25 @ Winters | 72 |
| 08/29/25 @ Hawley | 28 |
| 10/17/25 vs Hamlin | 21 |
| 09/19/25 vs Stamford | 2 |
| 10/10/25 @ Cross Plains | -2 |
Roscoe can attribute much of their success to Jace Arnwine, who rushed for 72 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also threw for 64 yards and one TD while completing 71.4% of his passes. Those 72 rushing yards gave Arnwine a new career-high. Tylan Balthrop was in the mix as well, providing Roscoe with two touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Roscoe was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 70.4 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 199.7.
Roscoe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Aidan Brown, Arnwine, and Fernando Ramirez picked up one apiece. Brown has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last three times he's played. Arnwine got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Albany entered their tilt with Cross Plains on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to the Buffaloes for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 win. Give the Lions' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
Roscoe better keep an eye on Shawn Keen. He was instrumental in Albany's win, rushing for 99 yards and three scores on only seven carries. Keen's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Another player making a difference was Clay Chapman, who threw for 199 yards and one TD while completing 78.9% of his passes.
Roscoe's record is now 2-6. As for Albany, their record now sits at 6-2.
Roscoe was dealt a bruising 38-7 loss at the hands of Albany in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Plowboys, Branson Beal (who rushed for 141 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 107 receiving yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
