The Windermere Prep Lakers came tearing into Wednesday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Eustis 75-55. Considering Windermere Prep has won eight matches by more than 19 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Zoe Sedo, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and six steals. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Eni Oyedeji was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and six blocks.
Windermere Prep pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.5 points. As for Eustis, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windermere Prep will square off against Wekiva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Wekiva focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. Eustis won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th.
