Having just played yesterday, the North Canyon Rattlers will head out on the road to face off against the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, North Canyon didn't have too much trouble with Fairfax on the road as they won 73-54. Given North Canyon's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Fairfax is ranked 250th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Boulder Creek came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 73-67 victory over Mountain Ridge.
Andrew Bhesania continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for he. The team also got some help courtesy of Mick Riordan, who scored 17 points.
North Canyon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Boulder Creek, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
North Canyon might still be hurting after the 51-28 defeat they got from Boulder Creek in their previous meeting back in November of 2016. Thankfully for North Canyon, Mitchell Warner (who scored 19 points along with six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
