Sadly, Heritage is still looking for their first win of the season after 11  matches. They suffered a  rough 8-2 loss at the hands of the Unity Christian Lions  on Monday.  On Unity Christian's side,  Haiden Stocks made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Stocks was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Kannon Dehority was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Zach Hesse, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Unity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage will  face off against Schlarman at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Schlarman is coming into the  contest with three straight  defeats at home,  meaning Heritage will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory. As for Unity Christian, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Taylorville at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
