With a playoff win on the line, J.H. Rose rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  an  8-2 margin over the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Rampants, who have now won 15 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Josh Roberson was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Roberson was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  home run was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Parker Watson was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run and two  runs. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  home run the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Joyner Haddock, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 J.H. Rose  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Terry Sanford only posted  an  OBP of  .355.
The  victory was  the 12th in a row for J.H. Rose, bringing their record up to 26-3. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Terry Sanford,  with the  loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 25-6.
J.H. Rose will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
