On Friday Gallatin take on Hillwood at 7:00 PM. Gallatin have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Gallatin might have drawn first blood against Mount Juliet last Friday, but it was Mount Juliet who got the last laugh. Gallatin took a serious blow against Mount Juliet, falling 3-49. Gallatin were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 3-29.
Meanwhile, if Hillwood were riding high off their 47-0 takedown of Hunters Lane two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Hillwood lost to Clarksville by a decisive 34-54 margin. Hillwood were down by 22-47 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
