Last week wasn't at all kind to Whitmire, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past North 42-6. Whitmire were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Whitmire back to even at 2-2. North are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Whitmire will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Branchville. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for North, they will face off against Ridge Spring-Monetta.
