The Chancellor Chargers waltzed into their contest Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 59-24 win over Eastern View. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Chancellor has managed all season.
Kendall Scott was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Lydia Brockelbank, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Chancellor pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Eastern View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Chancellor will be home for the holidays to greet Massaponax at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Massaponax is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Eastern View, they will head out on the road to face off against Albemarle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
