Maysville has won three straight games at home, while Philo has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Panthers will host the Electrics at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Maysville will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Tri-Valley, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Scotties on Thursday.
Tre Butcher was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. Butcher was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Butcher wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Hague, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Hague a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Philo never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Meadowbrook 10-0.
Wyatt Tysinger was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Roush, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Philo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Philo's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Maysville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Maysville has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Philo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Maysville couldn't quite get it done against Philo in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 6-2. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
