Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mulvane). They managed a 56-50 win over the Independence Bulldogs on Saturday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 34-33 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Mulvane's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Independence, they now have a losing record at 0-1-1.

Mulvane will be home for the holidays to greet Augusta on Tuesday. As for Independence, they will head out to challenge Labette County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
