This season hasn't been kind to the Farson-Eden Pronghorns, who are still winless after their fourth game. They fell 43-30 to Rich on Friday. Farson-Eden lost against Rich in their previous head to head back in January of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-20 score last time.
Rich can attribute much of their success to Violett Taylor, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Haydee Pugmire, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Farson-Eden bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.2 points per game. As for Rich, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Farson-Eden won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Star Valley at 9:00 a.m. on January 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Star Valley is ranked 41st, while Farson-Eden is ranked 53rd). Rich won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Big Piney at 12:00 p.m. on January 6th. Big Piney has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
