Sundown is 9-1 against Plains since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Allie McCormick was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sundown's points. Another player making a difference was Camry Jourden, who scored two points along with 12 rebounds and nine steals.
Meanwhile, Plains was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 51-50 to New Home. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plains in their matchups with New Home: they've now lost five in a row.
Sundown is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Plains, their loss dropped their record down to 20-5.
