Meanwhile, Plains was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 51-50 to New Home. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plains in their matchups with New Home: they've now lost five in a row.
Sundown is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Plains, their loss dropped their record down to 20-5.
