Ruidoso hasn't had much luck against New Mexico Military Institute recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Warriors will host the Colts at 12:00 p.m. Ruidoso will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Ruidoso is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 32-15 margin over Bosque on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, New Mexico Military Institute waltzed into their game on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Wildcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Javier Yepiz Galindo was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Tegin Maloney was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
New Mexico Military Institute's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.
