There's no place like home for Foothills Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Orange Glen Patriots 9-2 on Wednesday. Considering the Knights have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Trevor Cochrum was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Foothills Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 12.8.

Foothills Christian pushed their record up to 13-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Orange Glen, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Foothills Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
