Rod Gainey jr was his usual excellent self, rushing for 155 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Gainey jr was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Andreas Zayas was another key contributor, rushing for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Tampa Bay Tech's defensive line and their seven sacks. In that department, Tre?variez Jacobs was the leader with five sacks.
Armwood's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Tampa Bay Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Friday's game as the two teams haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Armwood commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 5.6 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Tampa Bay Tech struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.6 per game.
