Morning Star Academy extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-0. They came out on top against the Pathway Christian Panthers by a score of 46-38. Morning Star Academy had a senior duo take command as Addison Smith went 8-for-17 to rack up 19 points and eight boards and Violet Jewell dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Smith, who posted seven points.
Morning Star Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.
