Triton Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial as they made off with a 15-6 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Triton Central let Bo West and Nick Riggins run wild. West went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Riggins went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave West a new career-high. Eli Sego was another key player, going 3-for-6 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Triton Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Royals a 12-0 shutout. 12 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Keegan Reilly tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Eli Strege was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Strege, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Triton Central's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Heritage Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Triton Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .360. However, it's not like Heritage Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
