Eureka will challenge Round Mountain on the road at Round Mountain HS at 7:00 PM on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Eureka and Round Mountain will really light up the scoreboard.
Everything went Eureka's way against Whittell last Friday as they made off with a 36-8 victory. Sophomore Brandon Lee, who rushed for 267 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Eureka's success.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Wells in their previous match, Round Mountain were happy to find some success. Round Mountain steamrollered Indian Springs 62-0. With Round Mountain ahead 46-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Eureka to 2-1 and Round Mountain to 1-2. These are two of the top teams in the state, so whatever the outcome when they meet, this is not one you'll want to miss.
