Assumption's win bumped their record up to 25-15. As for St. Martinville, they dropped their record down to 14-17 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Looking ahead, Assumption will head out to face off against Bossier at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be up against the Bearkats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.85 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
