 In other batting news,  Luke Potter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Mason Huffman also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
Craig County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bath County,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-4.
 Looking ahead, Craig County will host Narrows  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bath County has  already played their next  matchup (against Pocahontas County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
