The Trinity Titans lost against the Triton Trojans back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Trinity was beaten by Triton 53-21. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity in their matchups with Triton: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Trinity lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jacob Palmer. Despite the final result, he scored six points along with two steals. Palmer has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.
Trinity has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Triton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
Trinity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-29 win vs. Hammond Academy of Science & Tech on the 9th. Triton has also already played their next matchup, a 59-41 victory against LaVille on the 9th.
