The Wawasee Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plymouth. Wawasee was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Plymouth apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Preston Wolfe was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds for Plymouth. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wolfe has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadyn Ellery, who scored nine points.
Wawasee has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Plymouth, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Wawasee will be playing at home against Bethany Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethany Christian is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Plymouth, they will face off against Elkhart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhart comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
