On Friday, Blissfield strolled past Reading with points to spare, taking the game 67-48.
Several Rangers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Kling, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brayden Wright, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The victory got Blissfield back to even at 1-1. As for Reading, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blissfield will face off against Arbor Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reading, they will head out on the road to face off against Springport at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
